Hey everyone! Are you enjoying Christmas Break? Today is the first day of our Health and Fitness series!! Whoo hoo! Many people-including me sometimes- take for granted the most intricately designed thing in the world... your body. I have felt the urge to do a unit on health and fitness for the body and soul. I believe God has set this in my heart and given me the passion for dance, and health for a reason! To help you in your life and to inspire others to make a better place for God to live in. So lets stop talking and begin the series!
On this first day i decided to create a special breakfast drink that gives energy, wards off colds, and is good for you. Since I uploaded this video a little later than breakie, feel free to make it any time of the day! Especially for a energy boosting snack.
Remember those jump rope stopwatch things i kinda introduced in the last post? Well here's the way to do them:
What you need:
skipping rope
stopwatch (don't have one? Check your parents' cell phone or ask them)
a paper that keeps record of how many seconds/minutes it took for you to have muscle failure each day you do it
How to: grab your skipping rope and start the stopwatch! Keep skipping as long as you can until you absolutely cannot skip any more. Then stop the stopwatch and see how many min/sec. it took you to have muscle failure (you can't do it any more). The next day, do it again and the next day, and the next day for two weeks (until this unit's over) and at the end you'll see how much your agility has increased!
If you don't understand, i will get back to you in a comment or email, or check out the little tab at the top of this blog i made just for you who don't understand my confusing jumble words :) But please, today is the first day and you can't skip a day or the agility planner won't work!
So today, eat as much of each food group as possible, do the first day of the jump rope exercise, and be optimistic!
Have a good one and check in tomorrow for the next challenge!
Good luck!
