This is Valentine's

To me, Valentine's Day is all about: candy, treats, cousins, friends, red, pink, hearts, cards, love notes to family members, puppies and kittens with bows and primped hair, gratitude all around, and love. I don't need a random male to be walking around with me, i don't need everything perfect {that's what decorations are for}, i don't need the most special and orderly day where everyone is serving me. Because that's not what St. Valentine would want his birthday to be like {unless he was seriously messed up}. Today, I had whispers drifting into my dad's ear about the surprise for my mom {a dinner in flowers and a surprise something at the end i don't even know about}, many happy faces, pinkly dressed bodies laughing and playing, and dinner being shared with neighbours. This is what it's like to me and i love it and am thankful to God for it.

Sometimes i wish it could be more decorative and people waiting on me. But in the day if everyone does something for another, they get multitudes in return, and it feels good.
